The Moto G96 5G is here in India with Android 15 and guaranteed updates!
Motorola just dropped the Moto G96 5G in India. It launched around July 9, 2025, and get this – it comes with Android 15 straight away! Pretty rare for a phone in this class.
But it's not just about having the latest software now. Motorola's promising to keep it updated, with three versions of Android upgrades and four years of security fixes. So, yeah, it'll get Android 16, 17, and even 18. Good news if you're not planning on switching phones anytime soon.
It's got a nice 6.67-inch Full HD+ pOLED curved screen that looks great with a 144Hz refresh rate and gets super bright. Plus, it's protected with Gorilla Glass 5. Inside, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
For photos, there's a dual camera on the back with a 50MP Sony sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens that’s also for macro shots. Selfies should be nice and clear with the 32MP front camera.
The battery’s a big 5500mAh, and it charges super fast with 68W TurboPower charging. It's also IP68 water and dust resistant, has a fingerprint sensor built into the display, Dolby Atmos speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
