This message was not merely an appeal; it went to state that doctors are not machines, nor are they superheroes. They are people, and they do feel, fear, and get weary. Having spent through the agonizing year of the pandemic, so many accepted pain and loss levels beyond imagination and did not even once ask for anything in return. The theme for the year invited common people to also see doctors in their white coat from their human side needing care.
Small yet meaningful events were held across hospitals and medical institutes nationwide. In simple ceremonies, grateful thoughts were extended to many doctors for their innumerable services for humanity over the past year.
